In 2025, MOTIONengineering partnered with igaspin to develop a custom chassis solution for a new generation of industrial devices.
The objective was to create a robust and production-ready housing that integrates display, electronics, and power infrastructure into a compact and reliable system.
Beyond pure enclosure design, the focus was on building a solution that works seamlessly in real industrial and outdoor environments.
Project Scope
Our responsibility focused on the mechanical and industrial design, as well as the production-ready implementation of the chassis.
This included:
- Development of a custom chassis architecture
- Integration of display components into the housing design
- Design of internal structure for electronics and mounting points
- Implementation of power distribution (mains voltage integration)
- Design for manufacturability and assembly
- Preparation for scalable production
All electronic systems and software were provided by igaspin and integrated into the chassis design.
Challenges
The project required balancing multiple technical and practical constraints.
The system needed to remain compact while integrating a display and internal components, all within a clean and robust industrial design.
At the same time, safe handling of mains voltage and efficient assembly processes had to be ensured.
Another key aspect was designing the chassis not only for prototyping, but for scalable production from the beginning.

We developed a modular and production-oriented chassis that combines:
